A biochemical kinase assay to measure activity of MAP4K4

electrocardiogram output

A heart attack (myocardial infarction) results in cardiac muscle cell death. Activation of MAP4K4 plays a key  in this pathological response.

Creating a highly selective inhibitor of MAP4K4 could protect cardiac muscle cells following a heart attack. At Domainex, we have developed a biochemical assay panel to measure the potency of compounds against MAP4K4 and closely related homologs to support the development of potent and selective inhibitors of this kinase.
