Sustainability at Domainex

Our Sustainability Focus Group

Domainex is committed to delivering high quality drug discovery while reducing our environmental footprint and supporting a more sustainable future for science. Our Sustainability Focus Group (SFG), established in September 2025, brings together volunteers from across all departments, functions, and levels of the organisation to drive meaningful, practical improvements in how we work.


The group includes representatives from chemistry, biology, ADME, operations, facilities, and business support, ensuring that sustainability is embedded throughout our organisation.

How We Work

The SFG meets regularly and operates as an open, collaborative forum. There is no hierarchy of ideas; all contributions are valued. The group provides:

  • A strategic overview of sustainability activities across Domainex.
  • A space to share ideas, challenges, and best practices.
  • A point of contact for colleagues who want to get involved or raise questions.
  • Representation at external sustainability forums, including the Chesterford Research Park ESG & Sustainability Forum.

All colleagues are welcome to attend meetings or speak directly with SFG members.

Our People

In our SFG, expertise spans chemistry, biology, ADME, operations, facilities, and business support, ensuring sustainability is embedded throughout the organisation. Sustainability at Domainex is a shared responsibility. All colleagues are encouraged to:

  • Share ideas or concerns with the SFG.
  • Participate in initiatives across labs and offices.
  • Attend SFG meetings or speak with any member of the group.
