Domainex, Tebu-Bio and Cytion Partner for Streamlined Access to over 700 Cytion Cell Lines

Cambridge, UK, Perray-en-Yvelines, France, and Heidelberg, Germany - 27th August 2026 - Domainex, a leading integrated drug discovery services partner and Tebu-Bio, a leading European distributor of high-quality life science research products and services,  and Cytion, a leading cell repository that provides authenticated, contamination-free human and animal cell lines for scientific research; today announced an umbrella licensing agreement for streamlined access to 700+ validated Cytion cell lines, without the licensing complexity that can delay outsourced programmes.

For customers, the benefit is clear: a broad, high-quality cell-line portfolio available through a flat, transparent fee structure, with no hidden licence costs that can otherwise add tens of thousands to a project. This gives teams greater budget certainty, faster project initiation and the flexibility to select the most appropriate biological models without being constrained by opaque or case-by-case licensing terms.

The expanded collection includes widely used cell lines such as MCF-7, THP-1, HEK293 and A549, alongside specialised, application-specific models spanning lung, breast, colon, liver, pancreas, brain, bone, skin, vascular and immune tissues. With models supporting oncology, fibrosis, inflammation, neuroscience, regenerative medicine and more, Domainex can help customers match the right cellular system to the right scientific question from the outset.

Integrated into Domainex’s end-to-end drug discovery platform, this enhanced cell-line access supports target validation, functional biology, assay development, phenotypic and target-based screening, mechanism-of-action studies, biomarker research, hit identification and lead optimisation. By combining scientific breadth with simple commercial terms, Domainex enables CRO customers to accelerate decision-making, reduce administrative friction and move from biological hypothesis to robust data generation with confidence.
