Downstream process development of next generation challenging proteins

Stevenage, UK

Tuesday, 30 Jan '18

This Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) event brings together 90 delegates to provide valuable opportunities to network with peers, academics and key decision makers in the bioprocess field.

Reducing the cost of goods and increasing productivity associated with downstream purification are key aims across the biopharmaceutical industry. These demands on new processes are heightened in light of the challenges associated with purification of novel next-generation proteins. In response to these pressures, industry has focused its efforts into three key areas; process intensification using conventional technologies and unit operations, the adoption of high throughput process development (HTPD) techniques and the deployment of novel bioseparation systems.

Principal Protein Scientist, Dr Stefanie Reich, will be attending the event and will have a poster showcasing 'Combinatorial Domain Hunting (CDH)'.  She looks forward to meeting you there and discussing how CDH can support your project.
